Housewarming cum 1st month celebration

Yesterday, My family went to my elder sister house for housewarming and her 2nd daughter 1st month celebration. My eldest sister and brother-in-law cannot go as people in the past said that if you are pregnant and one of your family member also pregnant, she cannot go for the 1st month celebration as it will so called "chiong". My eldest sister and brother-in-law came to drive us to my elder sister house while they went to Causeway Point to shop. We reached my sister house at 1pm. We went in to see the baby but she was sleeping soundly. There were many people but mostly my sister and brother-in-law colleagues and bosses and their neighbours. I took a lot of photos over there. At around 2.30pm, we left her house and walked to Causeway Point to find my eldest sister. After that, we went to Queensway IKEA to shop since my sister want to buy a baby cot which cost only $75 as advertised. We left IKEA at around 6.30pm and went to Boon Lay to buy dinner back. We bought satays, wu xiang, nasi lemak, ba ku teh, satay bee hoon, fishball noodles, dry prawn noodle. Yummy!!! okie, PHOTOS time again!!!

Went Vivo City

Last Friday evening, I went to Vivo City with my eldest sister, brother-in-law, niece and nephew. My sister wanted to buy Canon digital camera charger but the Canon salesperson said that it cost $99. It was so EXPENSIVE lah!!! In the end, my sister did not buy. We went to a bookstore(I forgot the name of the bookstore), there were A LOT A LOT of books. We walked round and round as the layout was like a maze. My sister went to take a look at the pregancy books while I took care of the kids. After that, me and my sister went to Burger King to have a meal while my brother-in-law and the kids went to Toy 'R' US to have a look at the toys and let the kids enjoyed too. After having Burger King, we went to Giant, Guardian, BreadTalk, Mark & Spencers and a sushi store. After that, home sweet home!!!

Things to remember!!!

I am so boring now!!!

Just to remind me about the following-

For one of my module(Introduction to Hotel and Operations), I have to memorise all the procedures for hotel check-in and check-out, rooming a guest, making a reservations, and many more.
For another module(Travel & Tourism Practices), I have to remember all the COUNTRY code, CITY code, AIRPORT code, elasped flying time, time differences, commands of the Amadeus Vista( a software used by travel agencies).
The other module(Business Law), I have to know 2 chapters of the law, various court in Singapore and know how to apply the law to the questions.
BUT there is one module I like the most which is FMAH(Financial and Management Accounting for Hospitality) because I knew what questions are coming out so only need to focus on that 2 particular chapters.

See? Got so many things to remember!!!

I am back!!! Miss me?

Hello! I am back again! Long time no see!

I think my blog have been dead for 1 year and 2 months!! BUT NOW IS ALIVE!!!

I have 3 weeks of holiday but during this 3 weeks I have to do lots of projects cum study for MST. So boring!!!!!!!!! And you know what, I have not started revising for my MST!!!

One of my projects was to evaluate a restaurant, comment on their service, product knowelge etc. On Monday, I went to Sushi Tei @ Vivo City with my group mates. We supposed to meet 7pm at Habourfront MRT control station. While I was travelling on the MRT towards Habourfront station, one of my groupmate called me and said that we were changing the venue so asked me to take MRT to DhobyGhaut station. After reaching DhobyGhaut MRT control station, we wanted to change the other restaurant so we called our tutor but in the end we coould not change to the other restaurant. We took the MRT back to Habourfront. OMG! After 1 big round we were back to Habourfront. I SHOULD just wait at HabourFront MRT control station instead. Waste my MRT fares!!! When we reached Sushi Tei at 7.50pm, OMG what a long queue awaiting for us. PHOTOS TIME!!! Enjoy!!!
